“Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved.”
― William Jennings Bryan
Hello everyone! If you’re reading this then you probably follow me on Twitter or a friend on Facebook so I thank you for taking the time to read this. I’m actually typing this from my hotel in Paris and it’s been quite the experience so far.
I had some thoughts and wanted to blog about it. So here we go…
In all honesty I suck at keeping up with things (i.e. my YouTube channel) and I really want to change that so I had to do some soul searching and I realized that if there is anything I want to do I cannot make any excuses and simply needed to go out and make it happen.
Does that mean I am going to revive The GOML?
No.
In fact, I want to kill the site (more on that in a second). I guess kill is a harsh word but I feel like making a news site is kind of pointless. The logo is cool though.
Since my last post a lot has changed in my life. I work for the IGN Pro League now (people still don’t seem to know that), I live in San Francisco and I haven’t casted like I used to in 2012. It felt like I was in every single stream or live show for CoD and that’s died down a lot since then. I even remember reading a comment on YouTube from a guy who said “Goldenboy is the most overused caster out there” so I guess that guy got his wish! ;P
Now on to the killing of The GOML!
I guess kill was a harsh word but I want to focus on building something more personal. I feel like people enjoyed The GOML but not enough to care about it. Perhaps I’m wrong? Who knows.
In any case I wanted to end this blog by thanking those who have been a fan of my work and supporting me. I know this entire blog has been all over the place but that’s what has been on my mind and I thought I would take this chance to talk about it.
Later!
